Classes and Events

This is a unique opportunity to master famous and very delicious French dishes, all skill levels are welcome.  Classes are a social occasion where you sit down and eat your tasty creations with a matching glass of wine. For the 'hands-on' classes we recommend you wear enclosed shoes.

Alcohol will only be served to those who are 18 and over.

Children: all children aged 16-17 years must be supervised by an adult at all times.

Essentials Series - Technique Demonstration Class

Sharpen Your Knife Skills - Sat 16th March - 12.00pm - 1.00pm

Master your chopping, slicing, dicing and segmenting skills in the kitchen. Build your confidence with different types of knives and understand their different uses.  Alison will showcase her favourite seasonal recipes using the techniques she has shown you.  After tasting you will be given the recipe to take home.   

  

In this 1 hour class you will be shown proven techniques for safe and effective use of all types of knives.  These classes are mainly demonstration but optionally hands on if you want to practise what you have just learnt.

Cost - $30

JOIN OUR SUMMER LUNCH IN PROVENCE 

Imagine having a fabulous lunch in Provence, with its vibrant colours, warm climate and fresher than fresh produce without leaving Sydney.

 

WHAT TO EXPECT

You will learn how to make beautiful Provençal dishes that include a mouth-watering aperitif, a main dish with accompaniments, or several dishes and a dessert to make up a luncheon feast. Think of a flavourful tapenade or an anchoïade, a delicious Soupe au Pistou or a rich summer Bouillabaisse, the famous Ratatouille, delicious salads and beautiful summer tarts. A matching glass or two of wine will also be served.


Alison will show you her time-saving tips and techniques, mastered over many years, that will ensure the cook in you will be inspired and nourished. 


YOUR CLASS

A mouth-watering aperitif on arrival, to get those taste buds going. Then you will be donning the apron and rolling up your sleeves, whilst Alison guides you through the cooking of a Provençal lunch. To finish, we will sit down and enjoy the delicious feast that everyone has cooked.  Dishes will be subject to availability at the markets that day. 


You can be assured of having fun, eating some delicious food, washed down with an optional glass or two of wine with like-minded foodies.
