Our cooking tour goes to the famous region of Burgundy, home to Dijon with its mustard and Beaune with its world famous wines.

Winter is all about tasty and satisfying food!  Our menu for the day is:

  • Tarte aux Champignon Sauvages - wild mushroom tart
  • Escalope de Poulet ou Veau a la moutarde de Dijon avec Fleurons & kipfler pomme de terre - chicken or veal (your choice) escalope with a mustard sauce and garlicky kipfler potatoes
  • Millefeuille Framboises - vanilla & raspberry slice

You will learn how to make beautiful Burgundian dishes that include an entree, main and dessert. On arrival to the kitchen, a mouth watering aperitif will be served, then the luncheon feast commences.  Rolling up your sleeves to learn the art of making a shortcrust pastry for the seasonal  wild mushroom tart, filling and baking it.  Then cooking chicken or veal (your choice) escalope, with a Dijon mustard cream sauce with Fleurons (puff pastry decorations) and kipfler potatoes, wow!  For dessert you will learn the secrets of making a layered puff pastry raspberry slice with vanilla cream.  Are your taste buds going crazy?!  Not forgetting some of the famous wines that will be served.

Note: these are hands-on classes.

Alison will show you her time-saving tips and techniques, mastered over many years, that will ensure the cook in you will be inspired and nourished.

You can be assured of having fun, eating some delicious food, washed down with an optional glass or two of wine with like-minded foodies.

Sounds like you? Let’s get cooking, mes amis.
