This is a unique opportunity to master famous and very delicious French dishes, all skill levels are welcome.  Classes are a social occasion where you sit down and eat your tasty creations with a matching glass of wine. For the 'hands-on' classes we recommend you wear enclosed shoes.

Beef Wellington - Saturday 25th May - 2pm to 5pm

Beef wellington and créme caramel - 25th may

As the seasons turn, it’s getting colder, a delicious Beef Wellington or 'filet de boeuf en croute'  is needed! Unlock the secrets of the ‘French classic’ dish. In the class you will learn the art of making puff pastry, chicken liver pâté, a mushroom duxelle and paper-thin crêpes. For dessert you will learn the classic Créme Caramel, yum! After cooking your creations sit down and enjoy the fabulous feast with matching French wines. A great social occasion to bring friends and family. Last week's team were just amazed at what they produced.

 

Note: these are hands-on classes.

Alison will show you her time-saving tips and techniques, mastered over many years, that will ensure the cook in you will be inspired and nourished. 


YOUR CLASS

A mouth-watering aperitif on arrival, to get those taste buds going. Then you will be donning the apron and rolling up your sleeves, whilst Alison guides you through the cooking of your dishes. To finish, we will sit down and enjoy the delicious feast that everyone has cooked. 


You can be assured of having fun, eating some delicious food, washed down with an optional glass or two of wine with like-minded foodies.

Essentials Series - Technique Demonstration Class

Sharpen Your Knife Skills - Sat 18th May - 12.00pm - 12.45pm By popular demand this will be repeated

Master your chopping, slicing, dicing and segmenting skills in the kitchen. Build your confidence with different types of knives and understand their different uses.  Alison will showcase her favourite seasonal recipes using the techniques she has shown you.  After tasting you will be given the recipe to take home.   

  

In this 45 minute class you will be shown proven techniques for safe and effective use of all types of knives.  These classes are mainly demonstration but optionally hands on if you want to practise what you have just learnt.

Cost - $30
